15 recent hospital and health system executive resignations

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following recent hospital and health system executive resignations.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Dianne Anderson, president and CEO of Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital, is resigning Nov. 6.

2. Michael J. Born, MD, president and CEO of Rockford, Ill.-based SwedishAmerican Hospital, has resigned.

3. Rob Cercek, executive vice president of TriHealth Physician Partners and population health at Cincinnati-based TriHealth, is resigning for a new job opportunity at the end of the month.

4. Seleem Choudhury, DNP, RN, resigned as president and COO of Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, Vt., after reports indicated that he plagiarized weekly emails to staff.

5. Daniel Eichenberger, MD, president of Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Ind., is resigning to become a healthcare consultant.

6. Gabrielle Finley-Hazle, CEO of St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., resigned Oct. 11.

7. Gene Green, MD, the suspended president and CEO of South Shore Health in South Weymouth, Mass., will not be returning to the role.

8. Michael R. Jaff, DO, president of Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Mass., is resigning for a leadership role at medical devicemaker Boston Scientific.

9. Chad Jurgens, CEO of Jefferson Community Health & Life in Fairbury, Neb., is resigning for a new job opportunity.

10. David Lundquist, president and CEO of Rome (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital, has stepped down.

11. Lorraine Lutton, president and CEO of Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis Healthcare, plans to step down for a new role at Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health.

12. Phoenix VA Health Care System's director RimaAnn Nelson, RN, is stepping down for a different position within the Veterans Health Administration.

13. Dan Ordyna, CEO of Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, is resigning later this year.

14. Kyle Sanders, president of Sebastian (Fla.) River Medical Center, is resigning Nov. 19 for a new job opportunity.

15. Dana Weston, president and CEO of Eden, N.C.-based UNC Rockingham Health Care, has resigned.
