Portneuf Medical Center CEO Dan Ordyna to resign

Dan Ordyna, CEO of Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, is resigning later this year, according to an Idaho State Journal report.

Mr. Ordyna said he was leaving for personal reasons. He has served as CEO since 2011.

During his tenure, Portneuf Medical Center earned a four-star CMS rating and aligned with more than 800 providers across the region through the Patient Quality Alliance, a healthcare provider network Mr. Ordyna helped create.

The hospital will appoint an interim CEO while the search for a permanent replacement takes place. Mr. Ordyna will serve as a resource for new leadership until the end of the year.
