After the three biggest insulin companies slashed their list prices, GoodRx refreshed its list of comparing costs among 31 generic and brand-name insulins.
The three drugmakers that cover a majority of the insulin market, Eli Lilly, Sanofi and Novo Nordisk, chopped the product's costs in mid-March. The changed prices were about a 75 percent difference, and the new list prices will debut in late 2023 and early 2024.
From 2014 through 2019, insulin's retail price increased 54 percent, and from January 2020 through January 2023, prices have since fallen 7 percent.
GoodRx divided up the data by short-, intermediate-, rapid-, and long-acting insulins. Here are 17 mixed insulin prices, according to GoodRx:
