St. Vincent’s HealthCare appoints Tom VanOsdol CEO permanently

Jacksonville, Fla.-based St. Vincent’s HealthCare named Tom VanOsdol its permanent president and CEO.

St. Vincent’s HealthCare is a part of St. Louis-based Ascension. Mr. VanOsdol has also been selected as a senior vice president of Ascension Healthcare and as Jacksonville Ministry’s market executive.

Mr. VanOsdol served as interim leader of the health system since January, prior to which he was COO of clinically integrated systems of care at Ascension. He worked at Ascension since 1990, serving in leadership roles at numerous Ascension facilities.

Mr. VanOsdol is a graduate of the Ascension Leadership Academy.
