Robert Sloan to Retire as CEO of Sibley Memorial Hospital in D.C.

President and CEO Robert L. Sloan of Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., has announced his plans to retire July 5, 2012, according to a hospital release.

Mr. Sloan joined Sibley Memorial, which is part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, as president and CEO in 1985. After retirement, he will continue to be active as a senior advisor to the Johns Hopkins system, the Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation and the new Jane Bancroft Robinson Foundation.
