Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare unveils new primary care clinic

Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial HealthCare has opened a new primary care clinic in Panama City Beach, Fla., its first medical practice in the county, Panama City News Herald reported Oct. 10.

John Woltz, MD, is the first primary care physician at the facility. A second physician will join him in early 2023.

The clinic features six exam rooms, a lab, a separate waiting room and provides all services normally available from a primary care physician.

TMH partnered with St. Joe Company and Tallahassee-based Florida State University College of Medicine in 2021 to develop the new campus. The health system plans to build an 80,000-square-foot medical office building by 2024 and a 100-bed inpatient facility with emergency, surgical, cardiology and imaging services by 2027.
