Three key takeaways for healthcare executives

1. Engagement from top executives is crucial for the successful implementation of AI.

"Success stories always leave clues that point to how the success happened. And the clue that I've seen consistently is it all starts with leadership."

2. Health systems need to be ready and willing to adopt AI. Organizations that wait too long risk falling behind the competition.

"But if your organization waits too long, the competition may jump up ahead of you. AI will become a differentiator between who is succeeding and who isn't."

3. Clinician buy-in and trust in AI is essential for successful implementation.

"Teaching clinicians and explaining to them how there is safety around this technology and that is going to help resolve issues related to workforce shortages is vitally important for the successful application of AI in healthcare."
