Lalit K. Shah, MD, PA in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has joined MEDNAX's Pediatrix Medical Group, a national medical group that comprised of neonatal, maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric cardiology physicians, as well as other pediatric subspecialists, according to a MEDNAX news release.
The neonatal group consists of two physicians who are currently on staff at a Level II neonatal intensive care unit at Holy Cross Hospital. MEDNAX paid cash for the practice, but no further details of the transaction were disclosed.
This is the seventh physician group to join MEDNAX's Pediatrix Medical Group in 2010.
