Nearly 100 Jobs to be Cut From Georgia Health Sciences University Hospitals

Approximately 100 jobs will be cut from Georgia Health Sciences University Hospitals and Clinics and the Physicians Practice Group in Augusta, Ga., according to an Augusta Chronicle report.

GHSU President Ricardo Azziz announced the hospitals and practice group job cuts as part of a larger university-wide plan to cut approximately 150 total jobs. Nearly half of the job cuts affect management or administrative support positions.
