Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Opens Expanded Children's Pine Center

Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC announced it is opening its expanded Children's Pine Center in Wexford, Pa.

Children's Pine Center offers outpatient services with a focus on neurodevelopment. The facility also includes the new Center for Independence, a program offering occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology services in a group setting.

Children's East in Monroeville, Pa., is also a pediatric ambulatory care center and will offer expanded outpatient services, including asthma and allergy/immunology, audiology, cardiology, communication disorders, diabetes/endocrinology, echocardiography/electrocardiography, neurology, occupational therapy, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pediatric general surgery, physical therapy, pulmonary medicine and urology.
