Hospitals have until April 17 to submit data to the American Hospital Association's RACTrac survey.
The free web-based survey, which is done on a quarterly basis, collects data from hospitals to assess the impact of Medicare's Recovery Audit Contractor program on hospitals across the nation.
The survey findings reveal many valuable insights for hospitals that have reported the data, as well as the AHA and state hospital associations who can use the information to educate the field and inform CMS and federal lawmakers of changes needed to the program, according to the AHA.
