Madison, W.Va.-based Boone Memorial Hospital will receive $1.3 million from the U.S. Department of Commerce to build the Madison Farmers Market and Greenhouse.
The grant specifically comes from the department's Economic Development Administration. Its investment will be matched by $324,563 in local funding.
The new project is estimated to create 136 new jobs and retain 23 jobs.
