Southcoast Hospitals Group, based in New Bedford, Mass., has named Paul B. Iannini, MD, physician-in-chief for medicine, according to a health system news release.
In his new role, Dr. Iannini will directly oversee inpatient medical services and quality improvement efforts at all three Southcoast Hospital sites. Dr. Iannini will also focus on Southcoast Health System's efforts to recruit new medical specialists.
