Ability Network aims to streamline physician scheduling with new app

Minneapolis-based information technology company Ability Network expanded its ShiftHound suite of cloud-based workforce management products with the addition of a physician scheduling app.

The app aims to make physician scheduling more efficient amid individual physician contract requirements and changing staffing needs.

“Physician scheduling is uniquely complex, yet it is so critical to ensure quality of care and to support physician engagement,” Ian Chaplin, vice president of workforce management at Ability, said. “Providing a comprehensive, flexible, mobile and affordable physician scheduling application builds on our proven clinical scheduling application and helps further simplify complexity for our customers.”
