10 rural Georgia hospitals get $9M in grants

The Georgia Department of Community Health announced grant awards totaling $9 million to 10 rural hospitals as part of its Rural Hospital Stabilization Grant program in a July 26 press release

Each hospital will receive $900,000 to support initiatives and services strengthening access to care in Georgia's underserved communities.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said the state is working to ensure that Georgians have access to quality care, regardless of where they live.

"... We’ve made investing in rural communities such a priority, and I applaud the Department of Community Health for its work strengthening hospitals in these areas.
