GE HealthCare's newest acquisition

GE HealthCare will now use MIM Software technologies to further their innovation and AI-oriented patient-care mission.

In a Jan. 4 press release, GE HealthCare, General Electric's healthcare arm, entered into an agreement with MIM Software, a provider of medical imaging analysis and artificial intelligence in radiation oncology, molecular radiotherapy, diagnostic imaging, and urology.

Software produced by MIM is used to streamline and strengthen imaging procedures, so that repetitive tasks may be performed by the technology rather than physicians. GE is pushing to use MIM technologies in the fields of radiology, molecular imaging, and radiation oncology.
