Former Medical Practice Executive Indicted For Alleged Mail, Wire Fraud

The U.S. Attorney's Office-Eastern District of Missouri has announced the indictment of a former medical practice executive for allegedly embezzling millions of dollars.

The federal government alleges that Dunard Morris, who served as business manager of Metropolitan Urological Specialists from 2006 to 2011, repeatedly increased his base salary without authorization or disclosure to shareholders and caused MUS to pay him hundreds of thousands of dollars in unauthorized bonuses and reimbursements.

A federal grand jury indicted Mr. Morris on five felony counts of mail and wire fraud and one count of stolen valor for allegedly misrepresenting his military background. If convicted of mail and wire fraud, Mr. Morris could face up to 20 years in prison and/or fines of up to $250,000.
