Scottsdale, Ariz., was ranked the best city in the nation for people with disabilities, while most of the worst cities were located in the South, according to WalletHub.
WalletHub compared 182 cities using three key dimensions: economy, quality of life and healthcare. They evaluated those dimensions using 33 metrics, which were graded on a 100-point scale. The city's weighted average across all metrics was used for its overall score.
The report found Lewiston, Maine, had the highest number of people with disabilities at 21 percent while Irvine, Calif., had the lowest with 5.6 percent. Meanwhile, Overland Park, Kan., had the lowest share of people with disabilities living in poverty at 8.15 percent and Rochester, N.Y., had the highest rate at 42.44 percent.
