Top 5 Roadblocks for Organizational Change

An infographic from Booz & Company highlights key findings from its 2013 Culture and Change Management Survey, including the top reasons sustainable change can fail in an organization.

Findings are based on Booz & Co.'s survey of more than 2,200 respondents, 53 percent of whom held positions at the management level or above. Eight percent of respondents were from healthcare.

The infographic identifies the following as either the top barriers to change in an organization, or the top reasons employees resist change:
• Competing priorities create change fatigue
• Systems, processes and incentives do not support change
• Employees are skeptical due to past change efforts
• Employees do not feel involved in the change process
• Employees do not understand reasons for change
