Findings are based on Booz & Co.’s survey of more than 2,200 respondents, 53 percent of whom held positions at the management level or above. Eight percent of respondents were from healthcare.

• Competing priorities create change fatigue
• Systems, processes and incentives do not support change
• Employees are skeptical due to past change efforts
• Employees do not feel involved in the change process
• Employees do not understand reasons for change
