Time BioVentures launches with $100M tech fund

Life sciences venture firm Time BioVentures has launched its initial Time BioVentures I fund with $100 million in assets under management.

The fund has backed Elon Musk's brain-embedded computer chip startup Neuralink. The firm is led by general partners David-Andrew Wallach and Tim Wright.

"We are not interested in incremental improvements in healthcare," Mr. Wright said in an Oct. 26 news release. "Patients are waiting for innovations that will have a great impact on their lives and we plan to be a catalyst to deliver these products."
