Kansas' Galichia Heart Hospital CFO, COO Leave for Other Jobs

CFO Ken Johnson has left Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kan., and COO Bill Wild plans to leave, according to a Wichita Business Journal report.

Mr. Johnson left for Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, Kan. Mr. Wild plans to remain with Galichia through June 1, at which point he will move to Wichita Specialty Hospital. John Hershberger is acting CFO, but the COO position will be left vacant at least temporarily, according to the report.

These changes precede Galichia's planned sale to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA. While Mr. Johnson said the sale to Wesley was part of his decision to leave, he was promised a position on the executive team of the new organization. Mr. Wild said the uncertainty about Galichia's future motivated his search for a new job.
