CEO of New Mexico's Cibola General Hospital Steps Down

Kenneth Cochran, CEO of Cibola General Hospital in Grants, N.M., announced last week that he will resign effective Nov. 1, according to a Cibola Beacon report.

Mr. Cochran has served as CEO of Cibola General since March 2008. During his tenure, he has helped enhance net revenues by 62 percent, improve productivity by 25 percent and double employee satisfaction scores. While at the hospital, he focused on improving quality measures and developing an action plan that led to the renewal of the hospitals' Joint Commission accreditation.

The hospital's management company, Quorum Health Resources, will begin its search for a new CEO immediately, according to the report.
