Indianapolis-based Indiana University is planning a $52 million neuroscience research center, according to an Indianapolis Business Journal report.
The Indiana University Neurosciences Research Building will bring together researchers from the IU School of Medicine to research diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and autism. The 138,000-square-foot facility will be located near the new 270,000-square-foot neuroscience, imaging and outpatient center nearing completion at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, according to the report.
IU Health's expanded neuroscience facilities are designed to enhance research and patient care, attract industry funding and draw more patients, according to the report.
