Elizabeth M. Allen has served as CFO and treasurer of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network since May.
Prior to joining AHN, Ms. Allen served as a director in Deloitte's financial advisory practice for two years, providing strategic leadership, including client relationship development and recruitment.
Before that, Ms. Allen served as CFO and chief compliance officer of Steubenville, Ohio-based Trinity Health System where she led the organization's strategic planning efforts, acquisitions and divestitures and supervised compliance with state, local and national regulations and laws.
Ms. Allen was also a partner at Ernst & Young for many years, where she focused on hospitals, physician groups, insurers and county government.
With more than three decades of healthcare operating, financial and consulting experience, Ms. Allen has offered expert testimony for healthcare arbitration cases, regulatory challenges, bond financings and certificate of need applications. She is also a frequent speaker called upon by health systems, boards of directors, academic programs and industry associations.
