Numerous healthcare organizations recently received donations to fund research, advance treatments, improve patient care or start renovations.

Here are five recent donations, pledges or bequests given to healthcare organizations by various entities reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the past two weeks, beginning with the most recent.

1. Tidelands Health receives record-breaking donation
Georgetown, S.C.-based Tidelands Health received the largest donation from private individuals in its history — a $1 million gift from a Washington state couple.

2. Cleveland Clinic's cancer institute lands $10M gift: 4 things to know

3. J&J heir gifts Boca Raton Regional Hospital $25M: 3 things to know

4. Henry Ford Health System to establish pancreatic cancer center with $20M gift

5. Michigan Medicine receives record-setting $150M gift to enhance cancer care
Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine received a $150 million pledge, the largest gift in its history, from Richard and Susan Rogel.
