LifeScan appoints healthcare marketing veteran as chief marketing officer

Diagnostic and monitoring device manufacturer LifeScan named Lisa Rose as its new chief marketing officer Nov. 5.

In her new role, Ms. Rose will lead global marketing efforts and manage the innovation pipeline, commercialization of new digital health products and LifeSpan's branding — including its OneTouch glucose monitoring devices.

She has two decades of healthcare marketing experience, most recently serving as healthcare technology company Vyaire Medical's chief marketing and innovation officer and Abbott's divisional vice president and head of global marketing. Before that, Ms. Rose spent 15 years leading marketing and innovation initiatives for Novartis and Procter & Gamble.

"As we continue our journey bringing new digital health solutions for people with diabetes and related health conditions and prepare to launch new continuous glucose monitoring technologies, we're thrilled to welcome Lisa to the team," Val Asbury, LifeScan's president and CEO, said in a news release. "She's a passionate brand-builder who looks for breakthrough ways to create engaging consumer connections, meaningful customer experiences and commercialize market-leading new products and services driven by insight and consumer/patient needs."
