PeaceHealth Changes Oregon Hospitals' Names

Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth has changed the names of its four hospitals in Oregon, according to a Register-Guard report.

Here are the name changes, according to the report:

•    Cottage Grove (Ore.) Community Hospital became PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Medical Center.
•    Peace Harbor Hospital in Florence became PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center.
•    Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield became PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend.
•    Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District in Eugene became PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District.

PeaceHealth also changed the names of its four hospital foundations.

The new names are designed to reflect the standard of quality that all PeaceHealth hospitals share, according to the report.
