10 states with the most self-made billionaires per capita

Among U.S. states, New York has the highest self-made billionaire per capita quota, according to new research.

The new research, released July 18, comes from SuperCasinoSites and is primarily based on data from Forbes (life story and current net worth) and the Census Bureau (population figures). 

To determine states with the most self-made billionaires per capita, analysts calculated the quoted billionaire rates based on 100,000 residents, with the population figures current as of the last official census (July 2022). Rich persons who owe their fortune to an inheritance, court decision, or any other circumstance beyond their control were excluded. Overall, 400 U.S self-made billionaires in Forbes‘ real-time ranking were considered in the analysis.

Here are the top 10 states ranked by billionaires per 100,000 residents, according to the analysis:
