Northern Arizona Healthcare's Earnings Up 75% for 2011

The following report was compiled by Principle Valuation, based on hospital financial reports obtained through the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board's Electronic Municipal Market Access (EMMA) database. Staffed/available bed-size data comes from the American Hospital Association's AHA Guide, edition 2010 and 2011.

Flagstaff, Ariz.-based Northern Arizona Healthcare Corp. increased its earnings by roughly 75 percent in its fiscal year 2011, compared to 2010. Earnings jumped from $49.5 million to $86.7 million, and earnings per bed jumped also jumped roughly 75 percent from $129,984 in 2010 to $227,646 in 2011.
