Naperville, Ill.-based Edward Hospital & Health Services is constructing a hybrid operating room, according to a TribLocal report.
Edward is using $1 million of a $2.5 million donation to fund the hybrid OR, which will replace the current cardiovascular OR. The hybrid OR will be the first in Chicago's west and southwest suburbs and is expected to open in the spring, according to the report.
