David Popen, senior vice president and chief development officer at Gallatin, Tenn.-based Sumner Regional Health Systems, has resigned his position, according to a report by the Tennessean.
Mr. Popen's resignation follows the resignation of the system's CEO Bill Sugg in June.
The health system does not plan to fill Mr. Popen's position, according to the report.
