National Association of Health Services Executives recognizes Medical City Fort Worth CEO

The National Association of Health Services Executives selected Jyric Sims, CEO of Medical City Fort Worth (Texas) as the 2017 Young Healthcare Executive of the Year.

The award honors "a NAHSE member under age 40 in recognition of their outstanding contributions and dedicated commitment to the healthcare industry."

Mr. Sims has served as Medical City Fort Worth CEO since July 2017. Previously, he served as COO at Tulane Health System in New Orleans. Both organizations are a part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. His previous roles within HCA include serving as COO of St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and associate COO of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas. He also recently served on a national healthcare delegation to Israel.

NAHSE gave Mr. Sims the award at the NAHSE Annual Educational Conference in San Antonio Oct. 19.
