Healthcare Informatics names 100 IT vendors with highest revenue

The annual Healthcare Informatics 100 list is here, ranking the 100 health IT vendors who earned the highest revenue from health IT products and services from the prior year.

The list, which Healthcare Informatics has been compiled for more than 20 years, includes key health IT players, such as Cerner (No. 2), McKesson (No. 3) and Epic (No. 9). This year, Optum took the top spot, reporting a health IT revenue of $5.2 billion, which is the highest revenue ever for a HCI 100 vendor, according to Healthcare Informatics.

Here are the top 10 vendors on the HCI 100.

1. Optum (Eden Prairie, Minn.): $5.22 billion

2. Cerner (Kansas City, Mo.): $3.40 billion

3. McKesson (Alpharetta, Ga.): $3.12 billion

4. Dell (Round Rock, Texas): $2.90 billion

5. Cognizant (Teaneck, N.J.): $2.70 billion

6. Philips (Andover, Mass.): $2.68 billion

7. Xerox (Norwalk, Conn.): $2.35 billion

8. Siemens (Malvern, Pa.): $1.99 billion

9. Epic (Verona, Wis.): $1.80 billion

10. GE Healthcare (Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.): $1.50 billion

Rankings are based on company-reported revenues combined with research and analysis with third party research firms.
