Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth appointed Executive Vice President and COO Ed Park to its board of directors, effective Jan. 1, 2017. Mr. Park will be stepping down from his executive roles within the company on Dec. 31, 2016.
Mr. Park has been with athenahealth since 1998, when he joined as chief software architect. He was named chief technology officer in 2007, and he has served in his current positions since 2010.
Kyle Armbrester, senior vice president and chief product officer, will take over Mr. Park's duties, while also continuing to lead the hospital division.
