The University of Cincinnati and its affiliated hospital system, UC Health, plan to launch a $2 billion, five-year fundraising campaign, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.

The campaign, called "Next, Now: The Campaign for Cincinnati," aims to raise money for scholarships, fellowships, healthcare initiatives and research.

"With a focus on innovation and impact, the Next, Now campaign will raise money for the signature programs and initiatives that are unique to UC and UC Health," Rick Lofgren, MD, CEO of UC Health, told the hospital system's employees Nov. 8.
