Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to Break Ground on Medical Complex

Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh plans to break ground on a 60,000-square-foot medical complex, according to a Pittsburgh Business Times report.

The complex will include an urgent care clinic, an imaging center, a new outpatient pediatric behavioral health clinic and other pediatric services. The hospital won the bidding for the site with an offer of $1.65 million and a donation to the township of $100,000 for a new civic center.

Children's will move its express care clinic in Bethel Park, Pa., to the new location in South Fayette Township, Pa. The former clinic site will be turned back to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
