Parallon Workforce Solutions has rebranded to become HealthTrust Workforce Solutions.
Officials said the change reflects being part of the expanding portfolio of service offerings managed by HealthTrust.
"For nearly two decades, provider organizations have relied on HealthTrust to optimize supply chain and overall financial performance," Brendan Courtney, president and CEO of HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, said in a statement. "With labor representing the largest hospital expenditure, it made sense to align our capabilities to help meet provider demand for total spend management. There are not enough qualified healthcare professionals to meet our nation's growing needs, and we are able to enhance labor productivity with the same operator insight that guides HealthTrust's supply chain offerings."
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, part of HealthTrust, provides workforce strategies at hospitals and healthcare facilities across the nation. Its goal is to improve employee satisfaction, patient satisfaction and workforce efficiencies at these facilities.
