Grosse Pointe, Mich.-based Together Women's Health is entering Illinois through a partnership with Chicago-based Northwestern Specialists for Women and Wilmette, Ill.-based North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics, according to an Aug. 30 news release.
The partnership will add 22 providers and three new locations to Together Women's Health's network.
"As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, maintaining the private practice model in obstetrics and gynecology is essential," Bonnie Wise, MD, leader of Northwestern Specialists for Women and new CMO of Together Women's Health, said in the news release.
"Our partnership with Together Women’s Health will enable us to not only preserve this model of care, but also enhance the highly personal, patient-centered care we have always provided to our patients and expand our offering with new lines of care," Dr. Wise said. "We look forward to a strong collaboration with TWH, which adds the scale to have an important voice with payors, vendors and health systems, as well as provide a more satisfying workplace for our staff, clinicians, and the women’s health community."
