Atlantic Health Systems currently operates Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, N.J., and Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J., among other facilities.
The Sussex, (N.J.) County Board of Freeholders voted to draft a letter in support of their county's Newton Memorial Hospital's merger with Atlantic. Thomas Senker, president of Newton Hospital, requested the letter to demonstrate community support in the state approval process, according to the report.
