Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, N.C. will affiliate with Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health System, according to a Citizen-Times report.
The two systems have signed an affiliation agreement that will allow Mission to manage the Brevard hospital next year.
The board of 94-bed Transylvania Regional began an exploring an affiliation with Mission in February.
