Question: How do you plan to pivot strategies this year to better serve patients?
Craig Richardville: Patients are the cornerstone and in the center of all that we do. There is no need to pivot to better serve patients as it is, will be and always has been first and foremost and inclusive within all of our priorities.
Q: What technologies and innovations are you most excited about in healthcare right now?
CR:
- Online services - items such as virtual care, hospital at home, telemedicine, apps, contact centers, chatbots - lots of opportunity in many ways.
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning - the potential of its application within workflow for fast and much improved decision making
- Digital Front Door/Mobility - Our patient is the destination center, we have to provide the services in their pocket (smartphone) - Advance self-service, intuitive, impactful.
Q: What advice do you have for emerging healthcare leaders today?
CR: Go For It - We need Transformation, not Incremental Transition so Think Big and Execute Even Bigger
