Bob Lanik to Step Down From Saint Elizabeth to Head CHI Nebraska

Bob Lanik is stepping down as CEO of Lincoln, Neb.-based Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, part of Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives, to become CEO of CHI Nebraska, according to a hospital news release.

Mr. Lanik has served as CEO of Saint Elizabeth since 1984 and will continue this role until a replacement is named, which he expects will occur in approximately six months. The new Saint Elizabeth CEO will report to both the hospital board and Mr. Lanik.

The new CHI Nebraska leadership team will also be based in Lincoln and will organize and direct activities of CHI's Nebraska facilities, which include Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island, St. Mary's Community Hospital in Nebraska City, The Physician Network and HealthConnect at Home, in addition to Saint Elizabeth.

Mr. Lanik will lead the team, which will be comprised of the CEOs of CHI's Nebraska facilities, Jeanette Wojtalewicz as CFO-Divisional Operations, Charlotte Liggett as vice president of strategy and Greg Gillespie as vice president of human resources.
