11 Latest Hospital Cancer Center Expansions

Here are 11 hospital cancer center expansions from the past two months, beginning with the most recent announcement.

1. Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio, completed its $11.1 million cancer center expansion.

2. MidState Medical Center in Meriden, Conn., opened its new Palladino Family Cancer Center.

3. Gibbs Cancer Center, part of Spartanburg (S.C.) Regional Healthcare System, broke ground on a new facility on the Village Hospital campus in Greer, S.C.

4. Rockford, Ill.-based SwedishAmerican Health System received state approval of its plan to build a freestanding outpatient cancer center in collaboration with Madison, Wis.-based UW Health and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.

5. Greenville, Ohio-based Wayne HealthCare broke ground on a new cancer center.

11. Houston-based Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center established a new cancer center that includes a team of specialists from University of Texas Health Medical School.
