Seattle-based Virginia Mason Institute appointed Sarah Patterson permanent executive director.
Here are three points:
1. Ms. Patterson has served as interim director of the institute since July 2017.
2. She has worked at Seattle-based Virginia Mason Health System for more than 30 years, joining in 1984.
3. She was a founding member of the Washington Health Alliance and is a past chair of the Washington State Hospital Association's board of directors.
Virginia Mason Institute provides education, training and executive coaching in the Virginia Mason Production System, the organization's management methodology.
