Cleveland Clinic named Darrell Cass, MD, director of fetal surgery.
Here are four points:
1. Dr. Cass previously practiced at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and was the surgical director of the neonatal intensive care unit at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.
2. He co-founded and co-directed Texas Children's Fetal Center.
3. He has authored more than 130 research papers and been an invited reviewer for numerous publications, including the Journal of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics.
4. He has served on the executive board of the North American Fetal Treatment Network and as the program committee chair of the International Fetal Medicine and Surgery Society.
