Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Fort Madison (Iowa) Community Hospital dropped the 'interim' from President and CEO Jeremy Alexander's title.

2. Kennewick, Wash.-based Trios Health named Mark Armstrong interim CEO, effective Feb. 1.

3. Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health's South Central Region President Matt Bailey left the role.

4. Irving, Texas-based Medical City Healthcare named Miguel Benet, MD, CMO, effective March 1.

5. Ballad Health, the new health system formed by the merger of Wellmont Health System and Mountain States Health Alliance, tapped Jerry Blackwell, MD, as chief clinical officer

6. Ballad Health, the new health system formed by the merger of Wellmont Health System and Mountain States Health Alliance, selected Paige Carter to serve as chief compliance officer.

7. Ballad Health, the new health system formed by the merger of Wellmont Health System and Mountain States Health Alliance, appointed Martha Chill CIO.

8. Eric Crowell, president and CEO of UnityPoint Health-Des Moines (Iowa), is retiring, effective July 1.
