Alan Keesee is Capital Regional Medical Center’s new CEO: 5 things to know

Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, Fla., tapped Alan Keesee to serve as CEO, effective March 1, according to a Tallahassee Democrat report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Keesee most recently served as COO at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and Sunrise Children’s Hospital, both in Las Vegas.

2. He previously worked as Capital Regional’s COO from 2013 to 2015.

3. He holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

4. Mr. Keesee is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

5. Capital Regional Medical Center and Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center are both a part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
