Here are five things to know:
1. Mr. Sinotte is currently CEO of UP Health System-Marquette, a role he has held since August 2016.
2. He will continue in his current role, in addition to serving as market president.
3. Mr. Sinotte’s leadership role will be expanded to include oversight over LifePoint’s and Duke LifePoint’s facilities in Michigan’s upper peninsula, including UP Health System-Portage in Hancock and UP Health System-Bell in Ishpeming.
4. Prior to his current role, Mr. Sinotte was CEO of Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, N.C.
5. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and earned the National Patient Safety Foundation’s certified professional in patient safety credential.
