2. Mr. Bailey joined IU Health eight years ago.
3. He served as president of the South Central Region since November 2016.
4. During his tenure, he spearheaded the development of IU Health’s new health campus, which is slated to open in 2020 in Indianapolis.
5. Brian Shockney, IU Health’s COO, is stepping in as interim president of the market.
6. Mr. Bailey also offered Mr. Shockney help with the transition, despite his immediate departure.
