Michigan Medicine names new chief HR officer: 4 notes

Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine hired Deloris Hunt to serve as chief human resources officer, effective Feb. 19.

Here are four notes:

1. Ms. Hunt most recently served as chief HR officer at the Detroit Medical Center.

2. During her 12 years at DMC, she assisted in the health system’s ownership and personnel transition from the former Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanguard Health Systems to Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.

3. She was previously system director at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System in Livonia, Mich.

4. Ms. Hunt also spent two decades serving in roles of increasing responsibility at Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System.
